[Welcome to my Wiki] 

    Hello, my name is Lilian Villarreal, I was born and grew up in Monterrey, N.L. Now, I am a teacher at PSJA High School in San Juan, TX. I am second year teacher, and I teach English Language Arts II, III, and IV. I have also taught English TAKS classes for freshman and sophomores, and currently teaching English Success. My focus is creating diverse, life long learners, students who are able to use their great talents to their fullest potential!   This is my first semester at UTB, and I am trying to finish the MTT program. I will be receiving my MA in Secondary Education in December of 2009, and continue to finish my preparatory classes to finish my MTT at UTB. I really hope I can very soon learn to integrate all these wonderful technology tools into my classroom and make it a 21st Century classroom by making endless possibilities.

Purpose: 

My wiki serves for many purposes…for the educator: I want to make technology information available and easy to access, I want to share 21^st century resources that are available to use, I also want to share with you different tools and innovative ways to make learning fun and authentic. Over all I would like to collaborate and help you make your classroom and real world learning experience!

For the student: I want to share with you different sites that are helpful and available for you to use and help you in your collaborative projects and assignments. I also want to show you different ways that you can work together with your peers to share ideas and make learning fun. With this wiki I also want to make myself and my resources as available as I can so there is outside-of-classroom help available to you.

My objective is to share ideas and collaborate to make new and better ideas. I want to learn more and expand my knowledge on educational technology and innovative ways to do so. So I welcome anybody who can contribute to this wiki and become a part of my own learning experience.

I will post new ideas and keep resources up to date, please contact me if you have any feedback. Also feel free to add any resources to my Delicious account. Students this will be an ongoing learning process and we will be blogging and keep assignments and other information up to date on your page.
